Started by three surfing, fishing and yoga-loving women, Loka was founded with the belief that responsible swimwear doesn't mean compromising material quality, style, or function.
Sourced, printed and designed with the premise that our suits are as special as the women who wear them; Loka Swimwear is a company built with the future in mind.
With integrity as the foundation of our vision sourcing ethical materials and factories was complex, yet achievable with hard work, time and expense.
Using The Responsible Company as our handbook, we set out on a mission to find other like-minded people to bring our dream to life.
From our production facilities, to our dying process and fabrics, Loka Swimwear is constantly searching for ways to raise standards in the fashion world.

Loka suits are proudly sewn with an Italian blend regenerated nylon (from salvaged ghost fishing nets, carpet and nylon cut offs!) and 22% LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fibre, making our material softer and more durable, meaning they keep their shape retention and are 2x more resistant to chlorine and sun creams.

Our exclusive swimwear prints are inspired by the ocean, nature and its tribes; and our designs made to fit the variety of shapes and sizes of women worldwide.
From our suit's designs to our production logistics, every single detail, stitch and campaign is comprised with the environment and its people in mind.
We integrate honesty and strong work ethics into all aspects of this company, which we hope will someday flourish into a lifestyle brand.
